  1. I've read "Interview with the Vampire" by Anne Rice, and it is a great read. I've read it twice, and am trying to find it and the time to re-read it with my homeschooler (16 year old). It is considered sort of the "Modern Classic" Vampire beginnings. Not for everyone, but, if your reading / enjoying Anything Vampire written after this book then you really should go and read it.
